Peace With Age: A Free Year-Long Yoga Nidra Series for Settling Into Life

There comes a time when the question is no longer how to improve life, but how to live it more honestly.

With age, many of us feel a quiet shift. The urge to strive softens. The appetite for noise fades. What remains is a simple wish to feel at home in our own lives, without rushing, fixing, or proving anything.

This year-long Yoga Nidra series is an offering for that stage of life.

The Quiet Arc is a free, monthly Yoga Nidra practice designed to support aging with calm, clarity, and peace. It begins in January 2026 and unfolds slowly over twelve months, one theme at a time. Each month includes a 20–30 minute guided Yoga Nidra recording, available free on my website and YouTube, along with an optional companion blog post and gentle journaling prompts.

There is no pressure to keep up. No sense of falling behind. The practice is meant to be returned to, not completed.

I recommend listening about once a week, though you’re welcome to use it as often as you like. Some months you may listen many times. Other months once may be enough. Journaling is optional. Stillness alone is sufficient.

This work is not clinical or therapeutic. It is not about processing trauma or solving the past. Instead, it rests in something quieter and more durable: learning how to live alongside what is unfinished, what has changed, and what will eventually end.

The themes of the series reflect this orientation. We’ll explore arriving where we are, releasing the need to prove, listening to the aging body, softening regret, allowing emotional weather, and befriending mortality. Not to analyze these experiences, but to sit with them calmly, without drama or avoidance.

Yoga Nidra is particularly suited to this stage of life. It invites deep rest without effort. Awareness without strain. Familiarity rather than transformation. Over time, it helps the nervous system settle and the inner voice grow steadier. Peace comes not from answers, but from being less disturbed by the questions.

Aging is often framed as decline or loss. I don’t see it that way. I see aging as refinement. Less excess. Fewer distractions. A clearer sense of what matters, and what no longer needs attention.

Death, too, is part of this refinement. In this series, it is not rehearsed, denied, or dramatized. It is acknowledged as a natural transition, one that becomes less frightening when we stop running from it and start living more fully inside the life we have.

This series is offered freely because it is meant to be companionable. You can listen in your own time, in your own space, without obligation. It’s not a program to complete. It’s a place to rest.

If this speaks to you, you’re welcome to join at any point. Begin in January, or arrive later. Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.

Sometimes peace doesn’t come from doing more.

It comes from settling into what is already here.

I look forward to practicing alongside you.
